This seat has large stabilizing rubber bumpers that literally grip the porcelain bowl and keep the seat from any unwanted shifting. This exceptional seat is rated at over 1,200 pounds and meets ADA compliant regulation #4.23 ADAAG.

Traditional sized seats offer approximately 3" of contact surface per side while seated, while the Big John toilet seat provides a full 5" of contact surface per side. This feature, along with the 2 1/2" rise, increases stability for people with impaired mobility or balance issues. Big John seats also offer non slip bumpers on bottom of seat, stronger hinges, and are made from a stain and chemical resistant material.
